An exciting announcement!

At Halcyan we don’t kid ourselves that limescale is a particularly exciting subject, however we strongly stand by our belief that it is a neglected issue, particularly where sustainability is concerned. We are delighted to reveal that Martin Roberts and his team agree and reached out to us to be involved in the Spring 2022 issue of Property and Home magazine!

We’d be surprised If you’re unfamiliar with Martin Roberts as he’s somewhat of an institution in British television. But if not, please allow us to fill you in! Martin Roberts has been the presenter of several television programs focusing on property. The most famous being the long running Homes under the Hammer, which Martin has presented from its inception in 2003 all the way till today, with the show still ongoing. Property and Home was launched in 2020 as an essential guide to all aspects of property, drawing on Martin’s considerable industry expertise.

Our article sits alongside a piece written by the Property and Home team and (as you’d expect!) concerns limescale, how it affects you and how Halcyan works to tackle the issue. Below is a little sneak peek from the article but we’d urge you to click the link below and see for yourself!

“If you live in a hard water area you will have noticed limescale deposits in your home; ugly to look at and hard to clean off. We’d also like to take this opportunity to wish Martin as speedy recovery as he’s just recently been released from emergency heart surgery. We’re delighted to hear the operation was a success and look forward to seeing him back in action when he’s recovered!

International Womens Day

Today is International Women’s Day and, as this year’s theme is “Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow” alongside a call for climate action by women, we couldn’t let it pass without highlighting the women in our company who are battling for a sustainable future with energy saving water technologies.
UN data recognises that women and girls experience the greatest impacts of the climate crisis yet bear a disproportionate responsibility for securing fuel, food and water. This is why women are so important in the drive to find solutions to the world’s climate issues.
This year the Action Coalition for Feminist Action for Climate Justice is helping to lead global climate action with a focus on addressing the balance between male and female leadership in the green economy.
Here at Halcyan Water Conditioners, we’re incredibly proud of our female team, including CEO Samantha Mant and Marketeer Paris Cains.
